BBC Introducing Live

Day Zero Festival

Music

The heartbeat of GoTo Live is music. Learning our craft in a local music scene, we’ve evolved into an extremely capable company when it comes to producing award-winning, high profile music events - both in the UK and overseas.

We handle event, site and production management, as well as artist liaison duties for any event, meaning promoters can focus on other aspects of the audience experience. We work tirelessly to not only deliver a show within its allocated budget, but to work with our clients on business strategy, impact and growth - key considerations for futureproofing the live music industry.
The first ever JikaJika! Festival took place on the August Bank Holiday weekend in 2018. Held at Derry’s Ebrington Square - overlooking the iconic backdrop of the River Foyle and Peace Bridge, JikaJika! welcomed over 4,000 festivalgoers to the site.

Denis Sulta hosted his famous Sulta Selects on the Saturday, while Sunday hosted Green Velvet’s La La Land takeover. GoTo Live is extremely proud to have produced such an enjoyable event - and plans are already in place for its second coming…

Helping inspire the next generation of musicians and creatives, BBC Introducing Live - partnering with the likes of Marshall, Yamaha and Help Musicians UK - took place at Tobacco Dock in November 2018. Hosting three days of discovery and innovation, the 20-person strong GoTo Live team managed all artist liaison requirements for a roster of high-profile artists, including British singer-songwriter Ben Howard and electronic music producer and DJ, Deadmau5.

The GoTo Live advancement team ensured smooth communication throughout and the collation of key information as we worked closely with the client to ensure BBC standards were met. Our amazing artist liaison team then took the reins on the night and delivered artists to their assigned press engagements and stage sets on time.

Welcome to the jungle!

Producing a festival that focuses so deeply on preserving and sustaining its environment truly was an unforgettable experience. Celebrating the spirit of the Mayan culture in Tulum, Mexico, and witnessing first-hand the incredible, all-consuming energy that surrounds this festival filled the GoTo Live team with gratitude.

The festival saw some lucky members of the GoTo Live team deployed to this Mexican haven, where they guaranteed the event was delivered with the same efficiency and professionalism expected in the UK. We came home humbled, motivated and incredibly mosquito bitten! Going back to basics in a festival setting inspired us to make some changes of our own. Working long hours and needing frequent hydration, this project was the catalyst for us having our very own reusable water bottles made. We partnered with a sustainable water company in order to pass on the education to our staff, suppliers and clients.
